My name is Vernon T. Brooks Sr. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL.  I have been in church since the age of 5 years old. I was baptized in Jesus’ name at the age of 16, and filled with the Holy Spirit at All Nations Pentecostal Church Inc. in Chicago, IL. In 1998, I’ve accepted the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During my time at All Nations, I served as the Director of the Men’s Ministry, Choir President, and Director. After 32 years as a member of All Nations, my family and I followed the leading of Lord to move our membership to Victory Apostolic Church in February, 2004.

In my life, I am blessed to have a fantastic wife of nearly 33 years, Deaconess, Deneen P. Brooks, daughter, Tiffany S. Brooks, son, Vernon Brooks Jr. (VBJ), daughter-in-law, Omani Ade Brooks, and granddaughters, Na’heema Amori Brooks & Nasra Aria Brooks. I am currently enrolled at Andersonville Theological Seminary where I am furthering my education in Theology.

I am a devoted family man, who truly enjoys laughing, singing and having fun with them. I love to write gospel music, read inspirational and leadership books, watch sports, and play sports when the knees don’t give out on me. I also take pride in serving God’s people as well as helping men dress for success.

I currently serve as the Pastor of the Group Life & Senior’s Ministries, member of the Ministerial Alliance, Men of Victory Ensemble and a member of the Victory Association.
