“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others.” — Philippians 2:3–4
Reverend Gregory Adams, M.A.
Director of Congregational Ministries
Praise the Lord!
My name is Gregory Adams and I serve as the Director of Congregational Ministries. I am passionate about equipping, encouraging, and serving God’s people. I aspire to help others grow in their relationship with Christ while fostering unity and excellence throughout the church.
I was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit in 2001 at The Apostolic Church of God under the leadership of the late Bishop Arthur M. Brazier. I transferred my membership to Victory in 2010. Since joining Victory I have faithfully served on the Baptismal Ministry, Hospitality, The Victory Information Center, Men’s Ministry, Men’s Sunday school instructor, Men’s choir, Prayer Connection Ministry, and the Ministerial Alliance In 2016, I answered God’s call to preach His Word and was licensed and ordained through the Victory Association.
I received my education at Leo High School, Chicago State University and Northern Seminary where I earned a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry.
I have been married to my wife, Ruth, for more than 30 years. Together we have one daughter, Candace, and are the proud grandparents of Cydnee and Caleb.
Professionally, I serve as a Support Services Supervisor with a prominent Cleveland-based law firm. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my wife and family, grilling outdoors, playing golf with friends, and cheering on my beloved New York Yankees. I consider it a privilege to serve God’s people and I am committed to leading with humility, compassion, and a heart for Christ.
