Pastor Vernon T. Brooks Sr. was baptized in Jesus’ name at the age of 16 and filled with the holy spirit at All Nations Pentecostal Church Inc. in Chicago, IL. In 1998 he accepted his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. During his time at All Nations, he served as the Director of the Men’s Ministry, Choir President, and Director. After 32 years as a member of All Nations, Pastor Brooks and his family followed the leading of the Lord to move their membership to Victory Apostolic Church in February 2004.
In the earlier part of 2014, he was assigned to the office of Deacon by his Pastor, Andrew D. Singleton Jr. On May 15, 2016, Elder Brooks was elevated to the office of Small Groups Pastor. He is a dedicated servant of the Lord and truly has a passion for serving others and building communities. What makes him happy is knowing that his family is happy. Pastor Brooks has been known by many as a man of great character and one who leads by example.
He is a devoted father to his daughter, Tiffany S. Brooks and son Vernon T. Brooks Jr. Pastor Brooks is extremely proud of being married for over 25 years to, Deneen P. Brooks who he met at the age of 6 years old. Currently, Elder Vernon Brooks is furthering his biblical knowledge at Andersonville Theological Seminary where he’s pursuing his Bachelor degree in Theology.
He serves as the Pastor of the Small Groups Ministry, a member of the Ministerial Alliance, Men of Victory Ensemble and a member of the Victory Association. If you want to know why he’s always smiling, just look at his family!
