Tara C. Broussard, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14

Hello!

My name is Tara C. Broussard and my calling is to equip believers to manage their finances according to Godā€™s word. My goal is for believers to experience a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ; increase in character, and achieve financial excellence in order to be a blessing to others.

In my Key Leadership roles, I have created financial literacy programs for multiple organizations and assisted hundreds of families to gain the tools for financial stability and empowerment.

Long story shortā€¦I absolutely love numbers and Kingdom building! ā˜ŗ

I am a proud member of the GramFam and graduated from Grambling State University with a B.S. in Accounting. This education led me to become a Certified Public Accountant and a Financial Advisor.

I consider myself a foodie and an international travelling free spirit. I have a palate for exotic foods and will travel the world for culinary delights. Iā€™m also the Founder and CEO of Adonai Naturale, a company that produces natural and organic lines of facial, body and home care products.

At Victory, I have served as the church accountant and Co-Director of ā€œGod Centā€ and several other ministries. In June 2020, I assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer, which fulfills my God equipped purpose.

Dr. Arlis M. Whalum
CEO of the Victory Association
Leadership and Development

According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts – Romans 12:6. And God will make room for our gifts – Proverbs 18:16.

Praise God for using me in Kingdom Building! My name is Arlis M. Whalum and I am thankful for answering Godā€™s call. Although I have been actively involved with church from a young child, there is nothing like the call of God upon your lifeā€™s work.

I have always enjoyed working with numbers, so I majored in accounting and earned the Certified Public Accountant credential. My career commenced in public accounting with a major firm and then proceeded to corporate Fortune 500 companies. In addition, I have been blessed to serve as the chief financial officer for several distinguished non for profit companies during my career.

My ministry calling began as the Director of Operations for a growing ā€œsoon to beā€ mega church in the south suburbs. This is when God directed me to obtain a MBA in Church Management and a Doctor of Ministry in non-profit leadership. God definitely made room for the gifts he gave me.

I was blessed to find Victory Apostolic Church under the Pastor of Andrew D. Singleton, Jr. where I have been spiritually fed and surrounded by many men and women of God. Here, God has again made room for my gifts, where I serve as adult Sunday School teacher, Director of Leadership Development, church treasurer and CEO for our affiliate organization, Victory Association.

Last but not least, God has blessed me with a wonderful family! My husband Lawrence and I enjoy golfing and bowling together. In addition, we enjoy our two children, Stacy & Derek, and our beautiful grandchildren who are bundles of joy.
