But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33

Praise the Lord!

Since my mid 20’s I have been willfully and fervently serving in God’s Kingdom. My name is Martin Stratton, Jr. and I was born again in March 1985 at the Apostolic Church of God in Chicago, Illinois.  I served in the ministry there working in the kitchen, singing in the choir, teaching and along with several men, founded the “Lions of Judah” ministry for teenage boys.  In 1991, I felt the call to the ministry and in 2003 was ordained.

Since the day Victory began its services, my family and I have been attending and serving. I am currently the Pastor of Christian Education where I oversee several ministries that range from teaching to supporting the members of the Body of Christ.

I don’t consider myself a master builder, but I do enjoy constructing in my personal time. When I’m not working with my hands, I enjoy every minute of relaxing, listening to music, watching movies with great plots, lifting weights and eating great cuisine.

For nearly 25 years, I have been married to my lovely wife, Dr. Roslyn Stratton. Together we have raised a family of four children and have three grandchildren that we love dearly.
