Praise the Lord!

My name is Pastor Brenda Varnado and above all I love God and desire to please Him!

By the grace of God, I was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Spirit in my teenage years and I was called to the ministry in 1993. From there, was nationally ordained July 1999 and at the Lord’s leading, I assisted with starting Victory as one of the 12 founders.

Since joining the body of Christ, I have served in several capacities from the Prayer Room to assisting New Members classes. Currently, I serve as secretary on the Board of Trustees and in 2011; I was elevated to Pastor over Spiritual Care Ministries.

I’ve always taught my children that education is one of the most important assets to living a full life. To prove that, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies, a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling and an additional Master’s in Military Psychology. From my hard education, I hold a license in professional counseling.

In my free time, I absolutely love to cook. I have been known to cook for family and friends just for the effort of blessing others. I also enjoy listening to jazz, reading and traveling when at all possible.

My husband, Earl and I have been married for over 30 years. From our union, we have three adult children Jamal, Cortney and Kellee and seven grandchildren.
