September 15, 2023 marked the 60th anniversary of the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama in which four little girls were killed and a fifth was critically injured.  In our first Black History Month production post-covid, the Cultural Arts Ministry has chosen to commemorate this event to honor the four girls whose lives were tragically ended on that day, in the play, “Four Little Girls:Birmingham 1963.  Our production seeks not to focus on their deaths but on their dreams of the promise of the future despite the realities of their lives in segregated Birmingham, AL in 1963.
