This year the Women’s Ministry W.O.V.E.N. had wonderful and powerful time in the She Shed.
In March, we visited the topic, “Why Do We Hide Our Scars?” We discussed how the Lord delights in helping us remove our masks and healing our scars. In doing so He not only helps us see ourselves as we are, but He reveals to us all that we can be AND the joy inherent in being genuine. This powerful session was led by Min. Jelaine Bell.
In May and June, we completed this fascinating 2-part discussion on “Why is Your BUT so Big?” It questioned our reluctant behaviors (procrastination), and excuses to the things that God is calling us to do. This creative session was brought to us by Asst. Pastor Darice Whitted.
In July, our sisterhood accountability was checked. We as Christian women discussed to understand the importance of accountability in our behavior and spiritual growth, encouraging ourselves to support each other differently in their walk with Christ. This session was also led by Min. Jelaine Bell.
